Barrie once turned out for the side, taking on fellow eccentrics like The Actors and The Publishers in annual fixtures at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Their travels have been nothing short of extraordinary — from the dusty plains of Rajasthan to the cobbled streets of the Vatican — and now, for the very first time, they bring their timeless brand of cricket to the golden sands of East Neuk of Fife.
