10 Years on the WallsA Celebration withThe Wade Gallery This year marks 10 years of partnership between The Ship Inn and The Wade Gallery, during which our walls have been home to a rotating collection of exceptional Scottish contemporary artwork curated by Patricia Ritchie. To celebrate this milestone, we are delighted to welcome local artist Hatti Pattisson for a special gallery takeover at The Ship Inn on Thursday 9th April Join us for an afternoon Private View and unveiling of a brand-new triptych commissioned especially for The Ship Inn, which will fill the end wall of the upstairs restaurant. Guests will have the opportunity to explore a collection of Hatti’s expressive landscapes and seascapes, meet the artist, and enjoy a glass of fizz while viewing the work. Private View is from 3.30 – 5,30 and you are welcome at any point during this time. Tickets are complimentary, but numbers are limited so please Book your tickets for Private View here At 7pm enjoy a delicious 3 course dinner in The Ship’s Cabin and chat amongst friends and with Hattie about her art. The menu has been created by head chef Morten for the evening and your ticket includes 2 glasses of wine. We will be displaying some of Hattie’s artwork in the cabin and Hattie will give a brief chat about how she creates her beautiful artwork, and answer any questions you may have.
